Gaming camp is the place to go when you’re ready to take your game-playing skills to the next level. Acquire new tactics and strategies from veteran instructors and practice what you’ve learned as you battle against the enemy. Forge new friendships as you team-up with fellow gamers and compete in cooperative play.
Esports are no different from other sports in that practice makes perfect. It takes a little bit of talent and a lot of hard work and training to master your craft. Examine your play from recorded matches and receive constructive criticism from your instructor; it’s important to not repeat mistakes. Learn to focus on your micro and macro. Improve your reaction times by maximizing the quality of your APM (actions per minute). Elevate your performance through scheduled breaks and exercise at low-tech rec.
You’ll play RTS, FPS, and MOBA matches as you race, fight, and battle your way to glory on the camp’s leaderboard; then take a swim, shoot some hoops, or play some Magic the Gathering.
Get a leg up on your competition by going behind the scenes. Between matches, you’ll learn the ins and out of video games by learning to code and design your own.
After camp, stay connected with our community as you and your teammates join our Discord server. Game with us whenever you’d like and continue practicing through skirmishes against other Game Camp Nation teams.
